"Be seen" as a road safety campaign is an absurdity.
It tells potential victims of road violence to do something that depends on drivers looking in the right direction, without distractions.
"Look where you're going and slow down if unsure" makes more sense.

The tyranny of motor traffic is only getting worse in Ireland.

Good cities to visit and live in are usually those where people get priority over motor traffic. A city where everybody has a car is a massive car park. A city where sustainable travel is used extensively is where life is better for all.
Choices are made everyday and it shows.

In my humble opinion, Canada is a better country than the US will ever be (I've been in both, I've done business in both, I have friends in both). Add Mango Mussolini to the equation, and the US is currently closer to being a banana republic.
