Tuna is back from the vet. Her root canal & restoration went great and she has a cute tiny tooth now lol. She’s a lil loopy from the anesthetic still but seems to be in good spirits. 10/10 experience at Prairie Veterinary Dental Services. Dr. Lam is phenomenal. #yeg

it needs attention or it can become infected. the options are extraction or root canal. the root canal is a bit more expensive but there are benefits to keeping the tooth. if it was a different tooth i’d probably just extract it but the canine tooth is important for cats, so i chose that treatment.

the vet says when she wakes up she should have 0 pain unlike if we were to extract the tooth so i’m hoping for quick forgiveness 🤞🤞

my sweet lil tuna has broken one of her canine teeth. i have no idea how this happened. she seems to be ok and not in pain— i only noticed when she yawned. i took her to a dental specialist and she is booked in for a root canal next friday. that’s correct, my CAT is getting a ROOT CANAL.

I’m embarrassed to live in Alberta. Danielle Smith doesn’t represent me, that’s for sure.

i trimmed 12/16 nails so it’s been a tough sunday for us all, but we are staying strong.

I’m starting to get some silver hairs and I hope I follow in my dad’s footsteps because he turned fully silver by 50 and I would LOVE to have silver hair. That’s the dream. I will keep it as long as possible. I will lean into my witch era.

you know what’s a bad idea? getting your back tattooed when it’s -40°C. because you will be sitting topless for 8 hours and even though you’re inside, there is still a CHILL in the air. 🥶
