I feel like it's a real "wait... this can be a TTRPG?" kind of game, which would be perfect for those trying to get into indie tabletop games. But! It's also a little harder to wrap your brain around if you're coming exclusively from D&D, which is why I ultimately left it on the chopping block

This is very hard! I'd also probably consider The Ground Itself, Good Society, Kids on Bikes, Microscope, Mothership, Heart, & Realis

1. Monster of the Week - an intro to PbtA while generally sticking to the "fight monsters" genre
2. Blades in the Dark - an intro to FitD while holding onto the core structures of "adventure/rest"
3. Alice Is Missing - a wild, emotional left turn
4. Kingdom - a GMless game

Did not realize how many games I ran this past week until I wrote it all out!

Ran two games of D&D 5e (2014 & 2024 rulesets respectively), the penultimate session of my home Heart: the City Beneath game, and the 2nd session of my Heart game on Start Playing!

Plus I finally got my hands on Mothership, and have been prepping "Another Bug Hunt" for the home crew (busy week 😅)
