just brainstormed a ton with the @infinite-citadel.com crew on a game i’ve been working on for a bit now and i think we’ve pared it down to one of the most interesting systems I’ve ever worked with. The teaser is the system is called Burned Memories (working title) and this is for a horror game 👀

So the party survives their delve into the Walking Cathedral, only to be faced with half the city going deadhead from mass infection 🤣🤣🤣

If only it was a 5 hour event. Could have spun up an End of Days session.

Hilarious moment from yesterday's Temperamental Upgrades game: a Shunted Avant-garde decided to livestream images of AlibiSKS - a neuro-iconographic virus that infects RCDs.

It was basically a perfect player-made segue into the End of Days scenario. #ttrpg #gencon

Hey @itch.io what the fuck? Spill your Fluids by @krasiph.bsky.social / @infinite-citadel.com (and the entire Faggot Games TTRPG Jam for that matter) is no longer showing up in Itch search results.

This is cowardly and unacceptable.

. #TTRPG design rule number one is: rules cannot stop cheating or ill-intent at the table.

There are no rules systems that can bring an uncooperative or unpleasant player under control or convert them into a good player.

Write to assume that the players are present out of good will.

The Alien RPG has some fantastic mechanics for instilling a sense of creeping, growing fear. There might be something there to refine towards slower, multi-session build-ups that would fit the cosmic horror vibe 🤔
