RPI-OS "Trixie" has finally been released: www.raspberrypi.com/software/ope...
For #Amiberry users, this is already supported since the previous release of both editions. Just pick the "trixie" Debian package from the Release page.
Not=now, of course

10.03.2025 09:33 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sunny day today, and actually kind of warm. No coding, going out for as much as possible.
Oh, and I also fixed a big with the Slirp implementation of #Amiberry yesterday, so I'm content for now.
The only question now is, take the motorcycle, bicycle it go on foot? Hmm...
Doing #Amiga stuff is good and all, but some times you need to take a break and do something else.
So, I decided to give some love to another project of mine, which I hadn't had time to touch for about a year now:
ko-fi.com/post/New-ver...
It's finally Friday! This means I can start working on some #Amiga projects at least. First off, is the A4000. Installing a ZuluSCSI adapter on the 3.5" bay, so I can take out the drive without having to open the case every time.
28.02.2025 16:11 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Got the latest version (USB-C) of the GreaseWeazle adapter today, just to make sure it still works with #Amiberry - and yes, it does! :)
27.02.2025 18:52 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sweden. It seems the government wants a backdoor for @signal.org
@meredithmeredith.bsky.social reiterates Signal would leave a market rather than compromise security & privacy.
This is a growing issue.

13.02.2025 15:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hey, you can always overclock it :)
13.02.2025 14:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Thanks for the reply! Yeah, the ones I was thinking about were scanned PDFs. Repositioning doesn't sound too horrible, if the device is responsive. Worse if it's sluggish and you're fighting with it all the time.
13.02.2025 14:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Can it handle color PDFs with images properly? The kindle I had (from years ago) was terrible at that, and too slow to render them. Needless to say, there's no love for Amazon from me neither. :)
