Initially designed not to be accessible for those with non standard bikes or a disability that stops them using the infrastructure. Local authorities need to brush up on the equality act 2010 and design inclusive cycle and pedestrian routes that everyone can use.

I don't think the social model of disability is beyond critique but people always stop understanding it "society is what disables me" and if course that's kind of untrue
