Sehr gespannt auf die Ergebnisse des Netzwerksprojekt, auch wegen der sieben Kulturgüter der Maka, die vom Kolonialoffizier Stein zu Lausnitz (1868 - 1934, s. www.lindenmuseum.de/fileadmin/Do...) extrahiert wurden und seit 1971 in der Ethnografischen Sammlung, Univ. Mainz sind.

Absolut verstörend. Ich wüsste auch nicht, wie das Heute Journal oder die Tagesthemen einem nicht ständig online seienden das in 3 Minuten erklären sollen.

Alles klar. Auch da kann mMn die Perspektive der Praxeologie helfen, die historische Praxis nochmal unter nem anderen Blick zu beschreiben. Mir hat das Lesen von Reckwitz & Hirschauer in meiner Diss zur Ethno-Sammlung des Badischen Landesmuseum auf jeden Fall geholfen. Wo siehst du die Probleme?

MMn eigentlich nicht, es ist ein anderer Zugang zu der Thematik, von einem anderen Standpunkt aus kommend. Manche Texte sind hart zu lesen (looking at you, Reckwitz 2003), aber haben aufgrund der Mikroperspektive nochmal spannende Impulse. Siehe bspw. Hirschauers Artikel übers Fahrstuhl fahren

in going to step in here and suggest that historians might find value in the rich archaeological literature about reconstruction drawings, their ethics and perils as well as the scholarly work they do.

I'll list a few in skeets below for folks interested.

It's fascinating to me that in 2025 people are a) still shocked that substack has nazis and other unsavories 2) totally baffled that 'substack' is not synonymous with 'newsletter' and that there are a myriad of publishing platforms & iii) confused that some readers might actively avoid substack

Auch von "Tech Bro Topia" hab ich inzwischen die ersten beiden Folgen gehört. Gefällt mir deutlich besser. Auch super produziert, aber weniger anbiedernd und mit spannenden Perspektiven auf Vordenker*innen, wie zB Ayn Rand, Befürworterin des uneingeschränkten Kapitalismus und Bestseller-Autorin
