Pocketknives used to be straightforward and now they’re all puffed out like pickups have become though unlike pickups pocketknives are still used to do their actual job and not just hog up space and resources.

If you were raised by either Greatest Generation, Silent Generation, or (Baby) Boomers, my question for you is in your childhood did you know regularly that you were loved and cherished or was love expressed only on certain special occasions?

I’m afraid I would fall under “violence begets violence”, at mid I’d just walk away, and at my peak best it would be “kill them with kindness”, and I’m not proud of any of these but haven’t done the work to get to “turning the other cheek”.
