Today marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, which devestated large swaths of the city, killing around 70,000 in the initial blast. If looking to reflect, Kurosawa's 2nd to last film, Rhapsody in August (1991), is about generational trauma/the question of reconciliation. Cont.
