The trans panic is maddening, because trans people are expected to defend ourselves with logic science and any sign of emotion is a failure.

And yet the anti-trans campaign is nothing but appeals to emotion unburdened by facts, precedent, or empathy.

We're watching the Trump administration systematically purge trans people from public life and the fucking media just hand waives it away as being about sports. This is why the Dem capitulation on this is so dangerous. It obscures and legitimizes what is being done to us.

The media is completely ignoring that Brown University just agreed to a full bathroom ban and defining trans people out of existence. Even worse, when they mention it, they're describing it as a sports ban. This is not just a sports ban.

The media is hiding what's happening here.
