I often think of the dialation effect of a lazy Sunday afternoon all stretched out before suddenly snapping you back right into a Monday morning.

So we spent 20 mins buzzing over his place photographing about 10 tanks he'd driven out and put in formation. Then, with pinpoint precision, he landed his helicopter back on the platform and it did away back into his shed. Nuts 🤣

Yeah, he gave me a spin. He'd a remote control & the doors opened & his helicopter came sliding out on a platform. Not a small one either. He climbed in looking like he'd slept the night in a biffa bin, "You getting in?" Course I did. "Want your house photoing?"

I remember a guy who was millionaire who collected and restored American tanks. Basically had a warehouse at the bottom of his garden (alongside his helicopter shed) full of tanks he'd rebuilt. Asked if he'd sell them, "You know how much swearing and blood spilt went into these? Never" 😂

There are plenty of collectors over here in the UK. There was one who had a 50calibre machine gun in his spare bedroom, that was licenced as a shotgun, because it was a smooth-bore firearm 😂

We had a lecture today about how to convert decimals into binary, then into hexadecimals, from hexadecimals into binary, from binary into hexadecimals, then all back into decimals and then had a graded 20Q pop quiz.

I believe they're thinking of an improved radioisotope thermoelectric generator or several linked to reach the 100kw electrical output that they want. The weight of the last one was 400kg to reach 600watts output, but 30,000watts of heat output. Not very efficient. Needs a lot of development
