The pile of bodies are collected in one corner to represent the stars of the US flag and the streaks of blood caused by them being dragged across the ground form the red and white stripes. In the foreground an armed skinhead officer with an ICE vest is dragging his latest victim with multiple gunshots to join the pile. The world is watching in horror.

Consider that for ever Peter Thiel there is a Reid Hoffman, and a Dustin Moskovitz for that matter.

But a good reminder that there are tech bosses who have retained a shred of humanity, just as there are literally millions of tech workers who are just as outraged as we are. Silicon Valley isn’t a sociopathic monolith. Even if, to mix a metaphor, the barrel is pretty damn rotten at the moment.

It’s shocking but not surprising given those same leaders got rich from building propaganda platforms and then used the money to help elect fascists. All to avoid paying tax on what’s left.

There is far more outrage from tech leaders over a wealth tax than masked ICE agents terrorizing communities and executing civilians in the streets. Tells you what you need to know about the values of our industry.
