He destroys because destruction is the only way he knows how to feel powerful. He resents what he cannot create. He resents beauty because it reminds him of everything he will never be. And so, he does what he always does.

The perennial problem with Trump these days is it's hard to tell if he's speaking from dementia or just lying again.
I think that's one reason the press doesn't know how to cover it. It's unclear if he's really this deluded/forgetful, or if he's just lying.

I was at that game. Way up in the upper deck down the RF line. I especially remember Strawberry’s home run that got the Mets on the board. It felt like it was eye level with us and hung up forever. More emotional for me than the walk-off.
