A tweet from the Democrats’ official account includes a chart titled “MATH” with a Republican elephant logo. The chart contrasts what Republicans “CAN AFFORD” versus what they “CAN’T AFFORD.” Can afford: $40B bailout for Argentina, Trump’s golden ballroom, Qatar jet upgrades, National Guard takeover. Can’t afford: Health care for Americans, children’s cancer research, SNAP/WIC benefits, and special education programs.

Their idea of “can’t afford it.”

Why are Trump-supporting oligarchs spending a fortune to defeat @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social?

Because they fear Mamdani's people-powered movement will end their plunder and finally make NYC affordable for the working class.

Zohran is charting a path forward where billionaires have less power.

Children are dying because Trump gutted USAID and cut lifesaving foreign aid — even though it took up less than 1% of the U.S. budget.

Meanwhile, he's preparing to dole out $40 billion to prop up Argentina's failing economy, all to help out his authoritarian pal.

I 100% understand the point about avoiding a shutdown. It's a no-win situation. But this is also just really poor and disappointing leadership.

Not seeing Aldi on this mini list but just looked them up and looks like they’re still supporting DEI - they’re owned by a German company so I guess thats not too surprising.

Thank god because I’m running out of places to shop 😂. Costco in Amherst is taking way too long to be built and it isn’t going to be convenient to shop at.

Wegmans has its own issues - they’re very anti union for one. But they HAVE cared about diversity for a long time.

They are so freaking weird. Why can't daddy come home and do normal stuff like give his kids a hug, go outside and play, take em out for ice cream, do chores, go over their homework, build a Lego set.

Halting NIH spending will LOSE the US a lot of money (and talent)

I’m sorry about your mom and classmate - lost my grandma this year but Roswell gave me extra years with her that I wouldn’t have had if not for their cutting edge research. Losing the ability to do new studies would be devastating at a global scale
