I just watched "Famous Last Words" with Jane Goodall on Netflix, and I was fine until the last few minutes, when Jane had the cameras all to herself. 😭

It's interesting to think who's being interviewed now, for it to be released after their death, but I don't look forward to the next one.

I neglected to log my time reading and editing a manuscript for a friend of a friend, and the friend wants to pay me, and I don’t know how much to charge.

I cut short my weekend away so that I could interpret for a crucial appointment for a patient who only wants me to interpret for them…and they are now 15 minutes late. I will wait longer than required, see: crucial.

Welp, I purchased a used library copy (with a 21st c. cover design) of this book, and I used my bookseller’s skills to remove all the extraneous stickers. Commencing reading, engines on.

I see they stretched the goal to $100,000. I chipped in a little bit a few minutes ago (thanks to another of your nudges).

Someone on the Lexington subreddit posted “They have the meats.”

Like I said, I have a couple of vivid memories of scenes, 30+ years later. But maybe watching it sober would make all the difference, hahaha.

I watched Prince of Darkness when I was drunk and high in college and it scared the SHIT out of me! But maybe I should watch it again to see if it is as scary as I remember. I remember a couple of scenes very vividly. (I have lost sleep after watching horror films, so maybe I shouldn’t. 😂)

I hear all of that! Prince played in Louisville (I'm in Lexington) maybe a year before he died, and I didn't even know he was performing until I saw friends post about the show on social media. I would have loved to have seen him. Bowie too. Gah, Kate Bush too!

I, too, had a huuuge crush on Simon from about age 12 to 15. I finally saw Duran Duran live two years ago. And I never saw REM, but I have seen Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy perform "Murmur" (and am going to see them do "Life's Rich Pageant" in March), so I feel I've gotten close enough.
