In other news, I've forgotten my #Adhd meds all week.. so I apologize for anyone who's stumbled upon my illegible rantings.

My pulse was 140, with a BP of 96/56. & all i could think to do was to try to control my breathing with the techniques I've learned through #Reiki.

I've got so much more to learn &; i will continue to further my knowledge, even if it means solving my health mysteries myself.

I felt so foolish going to the ED, but this was extremely scary. The MD told me that treating myself seemed to have resolved my reaction, aside from my anxiety literally having me in a chokehold. & I now have a referral to an allergist.

I used my own medical knowledge & dosed myself with benadryl and steroids as i didn't have access to an epi & got myself stable enough to get to the ED. My glucose was 114, so I knew it wasn't a hypoglycemic episode. But as i was trying to get my sugar, I was so shaky & clammy.

The last few weeks, I've been having an allergic reaction to being cold; as silly as that may seem. But the other night, it felt almost anaphylaxis. & I almost had EMS come to my home because the anxiety on top of this was crippling.

Doing all of the research on my own between different autoimmune conditions & the symptoms I've had over the years, I'm relatively certain what I've been experiencing these past couple of years, is actually #MCAS.

Having the medical knowledge I have & being able to Advocate so effectively for all of my other patients, I've forgotten to advocate for myself & now, i need to. I absolutely have to.

I thought I was "cured," I thought every little thing that has happened since then was "normal". But with the lack of knowledge regular MDs have, I've never once been referred to an #autoimmune clinic to see what else there could be. But after my experiences this past week, I've got to push.

After 5 years of having #ulcerativecolitis & multiple treatments before having a complete #colectomy & having an #ileostomy for 11 years now, I've learned I'm not as healthy as I had thought. Without having actual #UC #flares, I didn't realize what other actual flares i was having.
