Greater food variety could cut risk of gastrointestinal cancers | World Cancer Research Fund Risk of cancers including bowel, colon and stomach could be reduced by having a wide variety of food species in our diets

New research we funded has shown that greater food variety could cut the risk of gastrointestinal cancer.

People with the most diverse diets had a 23% lower risk than those with the least variety. Risk decreased by 6% for every 10 extra food species per year added 👇
