Why would it be controversial to say that Epstein, a person know to have trafficked women, introduced a foreign woman to a billionaire. There are many instances on record where Trump claimed that Epstein was a friend. Matching friends with potential partners is something that friends do, right?

He is such an important figure that many people outside of the far-right movement didn't even know who he was until is was killed. And those who are raising him up as a martyr almost never quote him in mainstream media, because the less you know about his views the better.

These people really need to go to church, because christianity is built on empathy.

I had to google this to make sure it wasn't fake. This is beyond belief. Who watched Idiocracy and thought the movie had a lot of good ideas for governance until the terrible ending.

None of Trump's minions like him. It is all about the power. If Trump gives them power, they will say and do whatever is necessary.

How long before they start privatizing the "profitable" parks? Then they can either dismantle the rest or possibly make them the responsibility of the states in which the parks reside.

A government that rips up contracts that it doesn't like is a government that cannot be trusted. If the law does not apply to the "King" and his minions there is nothing stopping them from coming for you next.

Imagine if law enforcement actually tried to fight violent crime instead of Trump's political enemies. Not saying they would have stopped this shooting, but wouldn't it be nice if they had the resources to try, instead of rounding up any and all immigrants to fill their quota.

If the supreme court rolls back gay marriage, interracial marriage is one step closer to being on their docket. Republicans are chipping away at civil liberties one step at a time.

I learned Fortran back in college. Wish I had gotten a job programming in Fortran. Learning good coding practices are more important than language choice, to a point. You need a relevant language to get your first job, after a few years experience they are looking for good engineers.

When I was young, I was fit. I was the top in one of the categories in the Presidential Fitness test in 8th grade, near the top for one other category. I attribute my fitness to growing up in the country and doing lots of yard work and not having cable, internet, or air conditioning.

Mike Johnson and his ilk do not put enough thought into their lies to make them make sense. That would take time and planning. Not saying that they should lie, I just wish that when they did they did, they would put in the time to make up something believable and consistent.

It is possible to be against the actions of the government of Israel without being antisemitic. But not in the eyes of the government of Israel or the far right in the USA. They conveniently equate being against the actions of a government to hating people how are ethnically or religiously Jewish.

If you say that you "get away with it", you know what you are doing is wrong, but you are doing it anyway because you are not being stopped. People that knowingly do bad things are just that much worse.

No tax on tips was a bad idea to begin with. The only purpose was to get populist support. People earning very little already end up paying no taxes. If this were written in a better way, it would encourage employers to make more jobs tipped wage jobs to save them on payroll.
