Was from a kids cookery book (I was about 5) so lots of really easy things to make so kids could feel they were following recipes and cooking properly. The best recipe in the book was sausage popovers (mini toad in the holes basically!) Was definitely not posh 🤣🤣🤣

The recipe we got it from actually called it 'toasted sugarbread' which sounds so much posher too!!

Found a menopause supplement that seems to have worked, but have appt to discuss HRT tomorrow with my Ehlers-Danlos specialist as estrogen makes me extra bendy and more prone to subluxations, so we will need to be very careful.

I re-upholstered an old dining chair for Bob, he loved it. We trained him to make it his play spot too. Worked brilliantly. Going to do the same for Ron as he's started paying my office chair a bit too much notice!

Hurrah! First reasonable night's sleep since February 🥴😴🥴 Ruddy #menopause can get in the bin. I have enough to deal with, without haywire hormones on top of it!!

My basil did not do well this year. But have a few beds to clear and add manure to, garlic to plant, raspberries to cut back, a final strim of the new grass & hoover up leaves. I think we have rain tomorrow, but then another few dry days next week, so hopefully I'll get at least some of it done.
