Our mayor—who pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in an altercation over a parking spot—is outraged that Katie Wilson dropped out of Oxford University.

"Balancing safety measures with diverse feedback" is literally saying that it's okay if people still get injured or killed as long as it makes wealthy people stop complaining to the Mayor. So fucked up.

Bold for @mayorofseattle.bsky.social Bruce Harrell to say, through a spokesperson, that safety is not actually the top priority if there are people who still want to drive fast. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that his own home overlooks this street.

This is not the managerial experience I want in city hall.

I'd rather have Katie Wilson, who has actually delivered big materials wins for taxpayers, rather than the dithering, failures, and coddling of the billionaires backing Bruce that have been the standard for the last four years.

I know exactly which house near 24th & Olive he must visit because it has one of the only two Bruce Harrell campaign signs I've ever seen, tucked away on the porch. There are two Katie Wilson signs on the same block, one directly across the street.

Much of this is pretty incoherent, but I had a good chuckle at "and you had many progressive politicians on the city council before I created Seattle as a human rights city"

I just don’t think Bruce Harrell has the experience needed to lead such a large city

Seattle Spent Millions on Hotel Rooms to Shelter Unhoused People. Then It Stopped Filling Them. Early last year, the city signed a $2.7 million lease extension to continue using a hotel’s rooms as shelter space. Yet despite committing to pay the rent, the city stopped sending people there.

"Because it is Lisa" and "because I want her out of the homelessness business." That's what Deputy Mayor Tiffany Washington said when asked why she denied a request by Purpose Dignity Action, headed by Lisa Daugaard, to open a shelter in North Seattle.

Cruise traffic is insane. A car was stopped on the tracks and only avoided a train collision because another driver jumped out of his car to open the gate. This area clearly needs traffic officers.

He uses the word "we" a lot to describe things he's done. In my interviewing experience people often say that when they were present for things that happened but weren't actually the person doing the work.

Mayor Harrell stood up to SPOG so hard in the last contract negotiations that he agreed to pay the police 23% more and got them to concede…NOTHING

Wilson keeps saying, accurately, that Harrell opposed funding social housing. "I'm never quick to call someone dishonest, perhaps they're making a mistake. ... There's NO record that I ever opposed it." he says. Harrell was THE FACE OF THE OPPOSITION.

Harrell's really showing his true persona in these last few weeks, and man it is not attractive to say the least
