Ya that’s extremely not ideal. I will say while excited these 3 stations seem the least prepared infrastructure wise for their openings for the surrounding area. Though that’s not surprising for the South End often prioritizing cars.

Maybe the Seattle Times should work on their Racism issue. Most of these venders are of Hispanic background. I rarely see this level of moral panic yet they have written several things on it. That news paper is utter trash

I feel safer to share about this now after his loss. Bruce Harrell is Racist. His treatment toward the Hispanic member’s of our community has been disgusting and has sent SPD after them time and time again. We have real issues in this city and he thinks going after food trucks is a good use of money

Taco Stand on Northgate was back open tonight. As I went we watch SPD go around in circles and turns on their sirens a few times. What is this? This seems very strange if they’re doing something wrong then talk to them. This felt like intimidation

That Taco Del Mar is almost always empty I’m often shocked it’s still open. Plus it’s main focus is coastal Tacos which are different anyway

Thank you Alexis I was just about to email you about it. Idk if you saw my repost but this is deeply upsetting and a major loss for Northgate this place was PACKED! From 9-12 besides McDonald’s on the other side of the free way this is our only option open and for many that’s affordable.

The only “Mexican” place is Taco Del Mar which is totally different it’s Coastal Mexican and they close at 9 and frankly I rarely see anyone in there I’m often shocked it hasn’t closed it must get most business earlier in the morning/afternoon 12-5

They do and it’s hard to hide my contempt for them even more so after this. Again I sound dramatic but this just sucks. It makes the city far less enjoyable. We pay a LOT! To live here yet get shafted on the benefits

Also even if this wasn’t deeply personal Northgate has no food on this side. And no Mexican business they weren’t bothering anyone they opened around 7 and went till 12. As someone said down in the South end they helped lower crime to. Because people were around.

God I hope Wilson wins this is such a devastating loss on a personal level. Northgate also has like no food places so even if it wasn’t personal this just sucks on that end.

Same I’m actually really upset right now because this became part of my weekly routine. I checked the other day I’ve actually spent more than 1000$ here over the past two years. I’d stay and talk with them sometimes.

Maybe I sound dramatic but I’m beyond sad I created a relationship with many of the workers there. This makes me angry and frankly dislike this city a bit when typically I love this city. This only makes Seattle a worse place to live.

So this one is super personal to me. I live near here and my partner is Mexican and this is often the closest thing authentic around here as you can get. I would go here with her twice a week. It’s affordable and they are kind people. I’ve been here likely 100+ times. Never saw any health issues.

At the end of the day though if he does fight Bob I wish him the best because Bob sucks
