Any states that can recall these senators should do so. Don't just primary them. Punish them. Hold special elections and/or the midterms as needed. If your state doesn't have a recall for US Senators, make their lives a living hell and push them to resign.

Too bad Maine doesn't have a recall law. I would recall her before the midterms just to spite her before her retirement. Fully willing to pay money to have a recall vote, and a special election, and then the midterm election just to stick it to her.

Democrats played the game and said those not up for reelection or retiring soon could vote with the GOP. Donโ€™t primary them. Recall them and replace in a special election before 2026 midterms. That should send a clear message.

And recalls. Some of the senators have 4-6 years left before re-election. Take them out of office early.

Sucker. Even if the GOP holds a promised vote on the credits, that vote doesn't require 60/40, so they'll be able to reject the credits with a simple majority. You've been had.

7 Democrat Senators and 1 Independent Senator are the biggest suckers today.

I hope every single Democrat that voted for the continuing resolution because Republicans promised a future vote on ACA premium tax premium tax credits (promise for realsies this time; no take backs!) gets recalled and is ousted before the end of the year.

So, Tim, you actually believe Republican promises to hold a future vote on ACA premium tax credits? You are a sucker, and you just did a disservice to every Virginian who delivered for Democrats in last weekโ€™s elections. I hope they recall you; you donโ€™t deserve to stay until 2031.

These are the 8 Democrats and Independent who shit on everyone who voted for Democrats in last weekโ€™s election:

Cortez Masto - NV
John Fetterman - PA
Angus King - ME.
Dick Durbin -IL
Maggie Hassan - NH
Tim Kaine -VA
Jacky Rosen - NV
Jeanne Shaheen - NH

Deaths from lost healthcare are on them.

Fuck Waymo, Long Live KitKat A self-driving car killed a beloved SF cat. Itโ€™s part of a long history of tech companies using the Bay as a testing ground at our expense. People have had enough.

KitKat's tragic martyrdom highlights an ongoing struggle for the heart of the city, not solely between a single tech company and a bodega, but between the tech industry and the public space it occupies. bayareacurrent.com/fuck-waymo-l...

An account of Day 3 in the felony trial of Sandwich Guy who threw a wrapped Subway sub at an officer. I canโ€™t believe the jury didnโ€™t come back with an acquittal within 15 minutes. Ridiculous. But, like one commenter says, a very entertaining waste of my tax dollars.

If you have an (R) next to your name, it might as well be written in scarlet. Voters are learning and are coming for your cushy job.

They're printing out signs and labeling things because Cheetoface's dementia has him wandering to the wrong places now.

President Cheetoface was already shouting early this morning about rigged elections, especially regarding Prop 50 in California. I hope he can calm down. At his age and in his health, that kind of rage could cause a coronary or stroke, and that would be just so so terrible.

Interesting. I wonder what the population/housing density is in those areas, too. I'll probably look into that when I'm off work.

I found it interesting that a candidate can be on the ballot multiple times for different parties in NYC. So, if you liked Mamdani but wanted to make a statement against Democrats, then you could vote for him as Worker's Party or whatever. Mamdani and Sliwa both had multiples.

Trump 'big beautiful bill': What Senators voted for, against? Here's how NJ senators voted President Donald Trump got a narrow win today, July 1, as Senators OK'd his sweeping "big, beautiful bill." See how NJ senators voted, more.

That is the House voting. The Senate Democrats also did not vote for the BIg Beautiful Bill, and three Republicans voted against: Senator Rand Paul (KY), Sen. Thom Tillis (NC), Sen. Susan Collins (ME). That caused VP Vance to have to cast a deciding tie vote.

I checked the votes on the Big Beautiful Bill that increased ICE/DHS funding by billions. No Democrats or Independents voted for it.

There have been some other problematic ICE votes mostly unrelated to funding.

If you listen to some people you canโ€™t fight back at all, so I guess you just die and become a martyr for the cause, because fighting back will make the government do what they are already doing. Or something like that. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
