Whatโs the difference between the web and AI?
With the former, the enshittification took 25 years. Whereas with the latter, the enshittification was right there at the start.
This is at the level of the guy staying up all night because somebody is *wrong* on the internet.

04.08.2025 22:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Lovely. But the fact is trillions are being invested in AI. Investors are going to want multi-bagger returns on their investments. 04.08.2025 14:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Nah, AutoPilot is NOT cruise control. In fact Tesla ruined its cruise control several years ago. It used to be โdumbโ just like e ery car with cruise control for the past 50-60 years. Then Tesla got rid of that and made cruise control a limited mode of Autopilot. And it sucks.

Why no BIRDS in the woods and forest scenes in AppleTV+โs new CHIEF OF WAR series?
Place should be full of tropical birds singing and chattering away, no?
(Maybe because a lot of the series was filmed in New Zealand?)

Respectfully, it is long past time to get past this genteel-media mentality, open oneโs eyes, regularly employ the word Fascist when mentioning any (formerly known as) โRepublican,โ and stop using โPresidentโ as well. Of course he is now a dictator.
02.08.2025 00:46 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs okay but I noticed many jokes did not elicit even a slight chortle in the audience in my cinema. Some gags were so brief I doubt people even noticed.
That said, thereโs plenty of gags throughout.

01.08.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0/2 Character subplots often feel like writerโs room filler.
Theory: Netflix had a contest inviting every EU nation to pitch a murder mystery series involving a) haunted forest, b) small town, c) corrupt local cops, d) high school girl, e) cheating adults. Instead of 1 winner, Nflx produced โem all.
A pattern I see over and over on #Netflix series: the quality of the #screenwriting goes downhill fast across episodes. Protagonists do dumb things, or donโt do smart things, or their motivations make no sense, that is, if theyโre even discernible.
