We use a real-stakes survey experiment to measure misperceptions about air pollution/health impacts & test whether updating beliefs changes WTP for clean air
We find large misperceptions, but not strong evidence that rectifying these would close Black-White WTP gaps

The U.S. has seen a manufacturing boom since the Inflation Reduction Act, especially in the emerging Southeastern battery belt. But these projects and associated jobs are potentially at risk with proposed changes to tax credits.

Simon Yates is going to win the Giro d'Italia on the Colle delle Finestre stage, where he lost 26 minutes and lost the Giro in 2018.

Adapting to climate change โ finding ways to prevent the harshest effects or deal with crises when they occur โ is a first-order issue. But research on the economics of adaptation has offered little guidance for policy. This column reviews the existing literature on adaptation and considers how it can more directly inform policy design and implementation. The authors identify two distinct streams of adaptation literature, outline how each can be used to evaluate policy, highlight limitations and opportunities for public intervention in private adaptation markets, and provide guidance for future work.
Tamma Carleton, Esther Duflo, Kelsey Jack, & Guglielmo Zappalร explore the literature on two main forms of #climate adaptation (ex-post and ex-ante), outline how each can evaluate #policy, and consider how they can directly inform policy design and implementation.

That's a good one! I could see this being useful at small scales where these delays are likely to impact drive times and site choices. Might get tricky with people anticipating these kinds of shocks to travel time though... and as you say most applications likely don't account for these.
