This book was so awful. It read like something written on AO3 by a 16 year old. Huge dropoff from the last two I read by her (and the second of those was a bit dropoff form the first). Its like she had a contract to write a book and was like "well shit, here's some words" and called it a day.

Also one of the characters acts like he's had a serious head injury.

I just don't buy this love affair, there was no lead-up, no get to know you, no tension, they met and then boom they're all moon-eyed for each other.

My souvenirs from the last two trips (Tassie devil not to scale with the quokka I got on Rottenest Island, obvs.) I need to go back if only to add to my collection of stuffed marsupials.

Oh word! Now I feel stupid. I desperately want to go back, I wish I'd spent more time there and less in Melbourne -- which was fine, but I've been to nice cities before and Tasmania was like being on another planet. This is more motivation to go back maybe next year.

The more specific it is, the more I am inclined to believe it especially if it's a b- or c-tier celebrity.
