Image of the Nullarbor Plains from space. It is a red image, but contains fine detail where the landscape is adding texture to the red soil that makes up the whole image. There is a very tiny straight line in the top of the image that is a railway line.

More glorious #Australia. This time the #Nullarbor Plains in South Australia as seen from #Sentinel2. The beautiful red dirt is dotted with #karst features throughout. If you look closely you can see the east/west rail line that crosses the continent in the top of the image. tinyurl.com/3khzx4uv

Dog working at a messy desk.

Working on #debugging #rst code today and couldn't work out what I'd done wrong. Checked and triple checking var names and syntax. Conceded defeat and called in help from a colleague. I had misspelled "if". πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ #teabreak #sideeye

Re-sharing one of my all-time favourite #EarthObservation images:

An incredible satellite view of Australia's 2023 Murray River floods - the turbid plume forming a distinct halocline as it pushes up against deep and shallow water offshore.

We are lucky to be living on the most photogenic continent on the planet. This image from #Landsat taken yesterday shows the stunning Warmalana/Depuch Island in Western Australia. Check it out on #DigitalEarthAu Maps tinyurl.com/3ufr5f7a
