Also, some of my OCs have genesis from tabletop RPGs, and it’s been a challenge sometimes to try and cleanse the “Stats and rules” from the characters and have them stand on their own conceptually

As a mental exercise, I like to genre-flip all my OCs to see if they still work at some core level in Sci-Fi or fantasy with minor adjustments.

Like magic become tech, etc.
