I used to work on this antho when managing Weasel Press: Dread~ Short #furry #horror fiction, meant to mimic the NoSleep Reddit or the stuff you see on Creepypasta. Was a fun project to work on. You can get the ebooks free at this link here: vagabondweasel.wordpress.com/free-books/

Found myself not able to sleep this morning so I popped on this film, Eyes (2015). It wasn't a bad film. A good one to watch at 3AM. Some of the scenes were perfectly lit. Give it a watch if you're interested. I found it on YouTube~

The cover of a book. It is a scene in a space station's dock where two men are sitting on blankets, a bear in a blue jumpsuit and a trucker cap and a rabbit wearing a suit with the jacket draped over his shoulder. They are looking out through a force field at the planet Jupiter. The title of the book is "Thorns" by "Roscoe G. Beetle." A space ship flies by in the background. The two men are sharing a cigarette back and forth.

Premonition (2004) - I had seen this one before several years ago, but had forgotten it. This film was hauntingly sad, but really good. I'm glad I got to rediscover this one, now to get the huspup to watch it~ I had the DVD, I don't believe this one is on streaming.

Bottom Feeder (2007) - For what it was, this movie wasn't terrible. I popped it on while having my morning coffee and was surprised that it wasn't outright terrible. It's not the best, but worth a watch on a boring Sunday afternoon. Found on Screambox~

The Jolly Monkey (2025) - I went into this thinking it was going to be really bad. & while it was kind of bad, it was better than I expected. The supernatural aspects didn't really work for the film. I kind of wish they leaned into the slashery nature more. This can be rented on most platforms.

The Monkey (2025) - The death scenes were pretty outstanding in this film. It really leaned into horror comedy with how well the dialogue was written, how scenes were edited. It's one I wish I watched sooner. It can be rented on most platforms.

The Surrender (2025) - I didn't know what to expect with this movie, but I found it to be an overall creepy experience. Sifting through grief, memories not matching up to how one's parents actually are, and what lies on the other side, The Surrender is a surreal film. Found this on Shudder.

Bloodfeast (2016) - I liked the original (maybe get rid of the soundtrack as that was daunting). The remake however, felt like an overall better experience. It's not amazing, but worth a watch for a halloween marathon. Found this on Shudder.

To Fire You Come At Last (2023) - This film didn't need much to be effective. It maintained a general atmosphere of eerieness and the story kept me interested. I found this movie on Screambox.

Baby Blue (2023) - This movie was a little unhinged. I enjoyed the urban legend aspect of the film. A mysterious phone with a video, and if you watch it, you die. Found this on Tubi.

Please Don't Feed the Children (2025) - I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this one, but I was surprised that it was a moderately good movie. Kind of wish they expanded on the pandemic elements of it, but still worth a watch. Found on Tubi.

I Will Never Leave You Alone (2023) - This was an okay, low budget film. I feel like while some of the scenes were tense, I wasn't that interested in the story. If you're struggling to find something to watch, this isn't a bad option. Found on Tubi

Gravestone Park (2012) - I was disappointed in this one. A okay found footage film that mimics Grave Encounters. I like found footage, this one just didn't hit for me. Found on Tubi.

Looky-loo (2025)- Kinda creepy at times, but also fell a little flat. I felt like there were parts of the character that were never really played out, focusing more on the stalking/murder scenes. Watch if your curious~ I watched this on FoundTV. Not sure if it's anywere else.
