As someone who worked ICUs many years ago and saw many people die hard deaths, it is an important topic!

Yay! I got my Covid and MMR on Monday

You can also get at CVS. I am too old and don’t remember having measles. Got my 2nd dose at the same time as Covid update.

Updated vaccine are out and available, got mine this week at CVS.

Both were covered by Medicare and my co-insurance at CVS, had no problem. But on a good note, there was a line of folks getting vaccinations. Old, middle and school age!

Certainly not now with health care in the state it is. Back then, stays were long and much less acuity, but I still remember the patients with stage 4 pressure ulcers, seeing death and lots of enemas

A friend rescued 3 crazy quilt tops that were going to be thrown out, we tied one and it is currently giving comfort to someone going through chemo. The love stays with the quilt.

I went ahead and got both the mRNA and MMR this time. I remember having mumps but not measles, so got it. The pharmacy said they were getting a lot of requests for MMR and had to order more. I will get novavax in the fall I guess.
