Trying out Alan with a braid to keep his hair back between shows. Been working well on raven when grandma does it on her so this is my first attempt

Raven's ponytail apparently has a mind of its own and likes to flip forward to touch her nose. It happens so often now that I do believe she is doing it on purpose to mess with me

Alan would like to know why the Cavaliers were moved to the end of the group. He had to get all dolled up far earlier than normal today.
Best of breed win today against some new north island competition which was awesome to see

Alan had a great day today wining Best of Breed and Intermediate of Group and getting a pretty rainbow ribbon.
He thinks it was because of his new strawberries and cream smelling treats, and we should probably get some more of those

Alan had a good weekend out at the shows. 3 Best of Breeds, 3 Intermediate of Groups, and 1 Reserve Best of Group.
I still think the wind was out to get us and turn Alan into a tumbleweed

Molly, Raven, and Alan loved visiting grandma today. After a crazy week its good for the dogs to have a day off.

Show 5 today was the nationals prelude show where Alan got best of breed and shortlisted for group.
Show 6 was the Nationals where he won best dog of breed.
All done for nationals week and can get back to general menace activities till our next show in a few weeks 😊

A Day off from shows today for Alan so we went to work where I groomed 9 show dog clients who are all showing tomorrow.
Alan is in the ring at 9am tomorrow for the prelude show and then again around 10:30 for Nationals! Fingers crossed for a great day.

Show 4 had Alan in a very peppy mood today. He grabbed another Best of breed win at the Toy specialty show and was one of 5 shortlisted for Best in Show 😊
His dad Mr Darcy came out of retirement for the veteran class and won Reserve Best of breed which was awesome to see.

Show 3 and our best so far this week. Best of breed again with his sister getting reserve, then made it to the shortlist for group 😊
The bath this morning definitely had him looking his best and he had some extra pep in his step today.

For show 2 today Alan got reserve of breed. Coming 2nd to a very nice bitch named Electra 😊
After getting knocked out for group he caught up with all of his friends, including a young havanese named Tito that he hasn't seen in months ❤️

Meet Alans new friend Rhubarb. Day 1 of shows tomorrow for nationals week and it will be her first time in the ring ❤️
Fingers crossed for a good fun day despite the severe wind warning.

The National Dog Show of New Zealand is next week but the lead up shows and specialty shows start this Sunday. Alan is entered in 6 shows! including 1 toy specialty, 4 all breeds, and then the nationals themselves. Gonna be a long week but Alan is ready to strut his stuff 😊

Alan's old outdoor raised bed has ripped and he is very sad about it.
Grandma has offered to help fix it so that he can get back to zooming onto it full speed again very soon.
