Someone snitched on our town Facebook page about seeing a person steal meat from a supermarket. Most of the comments were along the lines of:
- good
- don't care
- people need to eat
- supermarket prices are too high
- supermarket profits were to high
- NO YOU DIDN'T.

It had to happen at some point. Yesterday I dropped an entire case of wine on the stockroom floor. Entry in the health and safety register just reads "BE MORE CAREFUL, ME!"

I say "what an astonishing thing to say out loud ... to a stranger" when customers are rude, racist, homophobic, etc. It's just sharp enough to stop whatever rant they're off on.

Our freight driver told me after the last election that he doesn't vote because it's all too hard and confusing, and he didn't think his vote would make any difference. This week he was slagging of the coalition like a champ! He'll be voting next year, for sure :)

This is upsetting on so many levels. Banning new prescriptions is extremely harmful and doing this during trans awareness week, a few days before the transgender day of remembrance just makes it so much worse.

Our vet diagnosed Bea with 'garbagitis' this week. She's so bloody proud of herself, the little hoover.
