If I behaved in work meetings like this I would be severely reprimanded, or sacked. Cut his fucking pay, or something, if he can't answer straight forward questions without being a cunt.

Someone snitched on our town Facebook page about seeing a person steal meat from a supermarket. Most of the comments were along the lines of:
- good
- don't care
- people need to eat
- supermarket prices are too high
- supermarket profits were to high
- NO YOU DIDN'T.

😁

Love that Stuff used a shot from Karen O’Leary’s Full Disclosure podcast for this finance dude’s photo 😁🌈

"Incoherent misstep" is such a polite way to say "gigantic fuck up", I might start using it at work.

Oh, true? Still funny lol.

I didn't want to go and search for his post on Facebook, cos then I'd get even more fucking National posts in my feed.

It had to happen at some point. Yesterday I dropped an entire case of wine on the stockroom floor. Entry in the health and safety register just reads "BE MORE CAREFUL, ME!"

I say "what an astonishing thing to say out loud ... to a stranger" when customers are rude, racist, homophobic, etc. It's just sharp enough to stop whatever rant they're off on.

Our freight driver told me after the last election that he doesn't vote because it's all too hard and confusing, and he didn't think his vote would make any difference. This week he was slagging of the coalition like a champ! He'll be voting next year, for sure :)

Finally signed up for Good Bitches Baking! The rage is overwhelming me a little at the moment, and I’m hoping that baking and giving kai will help me reconnect with hope and joy.

Govt halts new puberty blockers prescriptions for gender-affirming care Green Party MP Ricardo MenΓ©ndez March says the government is "buying into imported culture wars" .

This is upsetting on so many levels. Banning new prescriptions is extremely harmful and doing this during trans awareness week, a few days before the transgender day of remembrance just makes it so much worse.

$4 BILLION to save 'up to 10 minutes' during peak traffic. Fucking hell - imagine what that $4B could do for housing, education, health, etc, in Aotearoa.

Well this made me laugh out loud, bitterly. Foodstuffs doesn't 'support' suppliers, they run us into the fucking ground. I wonder how many times the sushi supplier asked them if they could put his prices up, and they said no.

Headline from NZ news website Stuff: "There was a cover-up, but those cops are gone, police boss says" (I've added in red 'again' at the end. Because this isn't the first time that police have covered up their own shit, and it certainly won't be the last. Fuckers.

FSNI partners with the Kindness Collective - FMCG Business Foodstuffs North Island has announced a new three-year partnership with the Kindness Collective that will see $100,000 contributed each year to support the charity’s programmes and initiatives.

Not looking forward to all the fawning media coverage that Foodstuffs will get for donating just over $300 per store per year to a charity helping families facing hardship.

But, but, but National said before the election that their scant-on-details, un-costed water plans would be cheaper and better for everyone! How could they get it so wrong, and how are they going to blame it on Labour?! 😠
