The part that bothers me most about this is that we have known that the GOP agenda today is the same one they have followed for the last 100 years, (Project 2025 isn’t new), and people just flat out don’t care.

What does that say about our society?

In fairness to him, it isn’t his fault he was nominated and confirmed for the position.

The implication here is that his supporters will realize, someday, that they were wrong. That wont happen. They will only get worse.

The rest of the country is getting a taste of Oklahoma GOP leadership circa 2012.

The point many miss is that incompetence is actually the goal of the GOP. They aren’t interested in governing, their goal is to effectively neuter govt at all levels.

As someone who has worked a lot in that space, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that “drill baby drill” is the official rallying cry. Trump wants $50 oil which puts a lot of them out of a job but they are too stupid to realize that.

The party that is banning books today is raising children that will ban the books that tell this chapter in history. Our generation failed to stop this. Don’t let your kids let their kids get away with it.

Came here to post about his ties to Sinclair. Trump’s entire modus operandi has been to monetize the office of the presidency, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that his minions are picking up the $ that falls out of his pockets.

The silver lining about Trump’s appointments is that history shows none of them last very long. History also shows that he replaces people with even worse versions of their predecessor.
