Had an amazing morning and afternoon chatting to @fernandovelazquez.art and @sashaconstable_artist at my studio in @electricbackroomstudio. We had so much to discuss and so many ideas and perspectives to exchange. What fabulous people. Its great to have them as part of my artistic family.

I hope you enjoy the experience of performing it, too. And if you are ever interested, I have a few solo double bass pieces, some very demanding technically, others not quite so crazy! 🤪 I am going to publish them soon with Composers Edition but I have the PDFs of them already.

I have a very good idea as I create an audio ‘model’ on my computer to work with, but the joy comes from how each musician mediates the notation when sounding together in concert using timecode. There’s nothing like adding the human element to bring what is conceptual to life.
