I think about this every time they put down concrete barricades for construction. They’re set up overnight and can stay up for years. Why not start there for key bike lanes and set up slimmer infrastructure gradually?

Slap a scale bar and north arrow on there, first off. Then I’d change the legend to show one value per class rather than the range. Choosing “unique values” instead of a continuous range will do it. I’d probably also make “0” white, rather than the lightest shade (that’s more subjective though)
