Visiting family in Japan! My cousins took us to a charming 1950s-era children’s amusement park hidden inside Hakodate Park in Hokkaido, home to Japan’s oldest Ferris wheel. I think there were more staff than guests, all incredibly kind and helpful! Felt like a scene from a Ghibli film 😍

And happy Mother’s Day to Okaasan. My mom immigrated to the US from Japan at 27 and has always been my biggest advocate. She even helps me with my VO work today, assisting with contracts and bookkeeping (she insisted!). She’s a beacon of unconditional love. And a smart cookie!

When my young daughter was injured, we went to the emergency room without worrying about cost thanks to SAG

no they’re great! the creative direction just changed the character too much and I was no longer a good fit (understandably). just a sad turn of events. but there will be more opportunities to come 😊

Announcement posts are fun, but I have to share days like this, too. Probably the worst feeling for an actor is to get so far, then get replaced bc of a creative change. The bright side: I met many cool people and had lots of fun! Who knows, this may open the door to something great in the future 🙏

Ooof… I just found out I got recast on a bucket list project… I’m talking over a year of auditions, in-person callbacks, “you got the job!,” in-person sessions where they’re filming bts footage… Had my next session in the books when I got the sad email today: the project was changing direction 💔
