Catching up with One Piece's Egghead arc, and really loving the more stylized and expressive animation style they went wild with in Wano. Like, damn, they really gave the animators all the frames they wanted for the coolest scenes!! Definitely worth saving up for by having 10 minute flashbacks.

It's SO ANNOYING my downfall was spending too many seconds trying to think of "bullfinch", and also fjällräv.

Yay colonoscopies! It's deeply unfair that they don't even do the home tests until you're 60! Sweden's like the only EU country going contrary to medical expertise. Gonna have to figure out how to get my husband checked out through the private system - it's worth paying for. (Meanwhile I'm safe. 😆)

#NayeHealth On Monday I had my last checkup before they can do the 3rd of 3 surgeries to finish up the J-pouch, and it was all good news: it's healed well and isn't infected. ...it was honestly pretty cool to see the inside of the pouch, which has actual staples in it like I'm a badass gut cyborg!

Our entire 10 day forecast is for freezing temperatures, but it's full daylight at 3pm (instead of close to sunset), so I'm certain spring is just around the corner. (That corner is 6-8 weeks.)

Being really involved in my own care is one of my coping mechanisms, so I'm glad I had the option.

Yeah, it was -13C (9F) this morning, so. Really looking forward to warmer weather.

And if you're not, the procedure isn't painful! If they need to take a biopsy you'll feel a little pinch, but the camera going in there is way smaller than what usually goes out, and they use SO MUCH lube. Do the thing! (It saved my dad's life. 💕 Very upset Sweden only do it for people 60-74.)
