You might be onto something because I tried to parlay today and someone took a shot at me and missed...I didn't miss my shot, lol. Didn't kill him because we were extracting but he definitely had to buy back his shield.

I bit, and my first few encounters have all been much more peaceful than in the stress test. Now I'm the one with the finger on the trigger because I'm so used to Hunt where everyone wants to kill you haha.

I played the network stress test and it just wasn't fun solo as it turned into a sweat fest real fast. I might pick it up down the line on a sale but for now I'm good with ducks.

I've been working through my FOMO on this game with Duckov. Think I finally broke through the initial pain period so it should be a bit easier from here on out.

I still maintain that the Hunt: Showdown community is good outside of the high ELO lobbies. Rats can be countered in that game because of various reasons. One of which is you never leaving the game screen.

ARC Raiders is just rat central right now and it's making it hard to enjoy. I know I don't owe anyone a play style but it absolutely sucks to be in a menu and get lit up by the person crouch walking up on me while I'm looting. And yet I keep going back...I guess I'm enjoying it? #blutoid

I have not but this is reminding me how much I love good Immersive Sims so I may be trying it out sooner rather than later.

Playing System Shock for the first time and it's an odd feeling coming to this after being obsessed with BioShock back in the day. It's not exactly the same but you can tell Levine took a lot of things from that series and just tweaked them a little bit. Loving the hell out of it though #blutoid

That generation of games was so wild.

Hollow Knight was a really good game and I'm an idiot for waiting this long to play it. It was just so finely tuned in every way that I'm struggling to find something to complain about with it. What a fantastic game <3

Gonna lay out a hot take for #blutoid, but be warned it's a doozy. It will make defending the Saudi Arabian buyout of EA look like child's play. Those with sensitive stomachs should take heed of this warning. Ok here it goes...

It's just not for me, they have more than 20 albums, not all of them have worked for me. I'm sure I'll come around to it eventually like I did with Heretic Pride and The Life of the World to Come but right now it just ain't hitting. Jenny from Thebes is an instant no-miss banger of an album though.

Been grinding away at Hollow Knight and dealing with cheaters in Hunt: Showdown. Been reading a bunch more recently and have been loving In the Distance by Hernan Diaz. Thoroughly depressing but absolutely beautiful in its bleak loneliness.
