Begin oktober valt het doek voor ICR, ofwel de Intercityrijtuigen van NS, die vanaf begin jaren '80 ingezet zijn op veel verbindingen binnen Nederland, maar ook naar België en andere buurlanden. En zelfs als Fyra hebben gereden na het fiasco met de Italiaanse treinen. Een klein draadje.

Dommage que l’exécutif communal ne se tracasse guère plus que ça des usagers des transports en commun.
Quant aux gouvernements régional et fédéral, on peut raisonnablement supposer qu’ils n’en ont absolument rien à foutre.

Après un concours d'architecture lancé en 2017 et un permis finalement délivré en 2023, ce gros morceau de métal que vous voyez avancer sur l'eau, c'est bien l'extension du pont Sainctelette! 🚢

On l'a vendu à une autre famille bruxelloise avec des enfants plus petits. Je devrais faire le calcul final (prix d'achat + coût de la maintenance, assurance etc.).

La fin d'une époque. Cette semaine on a dit au revoir à notre "SUV". Après 7 ans de service fidèle, +14.000 km. Pas mal de trajects école et des courses mais ce vélo a aussi fait des déménagements, des brocantes, une transplantation d'arbre et une ballade camping/festival #bakfiets #urbanarrow

How do you move 1000 people? One link train with four cars, 15 buses, or 625 cars requiring over 5 acres of parking at both start and destination.
What does it take to move 1000 people? Better infrastructure supporting mobility choices that don’t take up so much space (or produce so much emissions/pollution, cost so much public money, etc).
