Bug!er Up fixes Windows 11 compatibility; adds support for XInput controllers, removes the CD-ROM requirement and allows custom soundtracks.

Totally didn't know that punch cards were optical, guess that video can still teach new things today! I always thought it was metal pins lightly stamping on the card and making contact with a surface beyond it only where there are holes. Makes sense to use light sensors for no-touch.

Good question. I've encountered some downloads that are just plain broken this way. No matter the browser, no matter who tries downloading it. You have to use wget instead. Probably issue with how it was archived, the ones I noticed were all 2008-2012 time frame.
