Observations of Deviance host David Mittleman’s interview with Tomeka Reid is the centerpiece of a three-hour exploration of her astounding oeuvre. Sat. Feb 28th, 7pm - 11pm: “We’re Trying To Save Your Ass!” Sun Ra / Nuclear War Mega Mix (1982-1988) “Nuclear War” (1982) is one of Sun Ra’s most powerful compositions from the later part of his life. This fan favorite will be the focus of a special four-hour episode of OoD. The first hour will feature cover versions by other artists, followed by three-hours (twenty-eight versions!) of rare, live, mostly unreleased performances of this classic track by Sun Ra and his Arkestra.
