I always think about the Big & Rich NASCAR diecast I used to have and I think my younger brother still owns.

Something like this.

not hating or anything but I do find it interesting!

Do you like that part of the song more?

I know I call Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by its normal non-parenthetical title but I think I'm the weird one

one of the only times I've ever seen somebody refer to that song by the parenthetical title

It's easy to forget now but we had decades of steady advancement on trans rights. The 2016 bathroom bills invited huge backlash! It was only after the media constructed sports and youth medications as 'debates' that opposition moved from the far right to the polite center.

Dear NASCAR,
For your organization to forsake the longtime fans by cashing a big Amazon check is intolerable. This is an overt attempt by Amazon to force NASCAR fans into subscribing to Amazon Prime. The fact that NASCAR would abandon it's fans by entertaining this contract is truly a dagger in the heart of NASCAR. We, as fans, are well aware of the forces at play in promoting this fan betraying cash grab.
For many 30+ year fans like myself, this is the last straw.
I will be promoting a boycott of all major sponsors and encouraging others to do the same in a broad social media campaign. This move by the powers that be, shows once again that NASCAR cares little for it's fans, promotors or tracks. Speedway International and it's dominant placement on the schedule is, for one thing, an unfair advantage to single track owners. For another thing, the governing body owning a majority of scheduled tracks is stepping one foot into a monopoly. These moves are a slap in the face of longtime fans who have supported NASCAR both monetarily and as fans. Dale Earnhardt would have punched someone in the nose over this anti-fan move.
β€”Sincerely, a former NASCAR devotee

TV contracts aren't worth a damn if fans don't engage with the advertisers and boycott their products. Not a smart move by Jim France and Mike Helton

This'll probably be the most painful one personally to my music taste until we get to a possible Bowie episode or to one of either Adore or New Adventures in Hi-Fi because oh my goodness I'll go through heaven and earth to defend those lmao

absolutely fantastic!

I've really come around on Limo Bizkit over the past couple of years but this album is just sad. It's a band running out of gas and they know it. Compare this to the Unquestionable Truth EP when Wes is back a couple years later and it's like night and day.

People try to suggest other opponents but I just keep coming back around to these two facing off because they really never crossed paths in their careers. They were both just icons in crafting their art and unfortunately both of them left this earth the same year, perhaps too soon.

It's the move.

It's been 8 years since the last musician was in a battle.

I think the most logical next step is Bowie vs Prince.

Two androgynous and flamboyant rock stars who each have an incredible amount of output, lots to research and listen to.

An American from Minneapolis vs the Brit from Bromley.

I had an idea tonight that my wife was horrified of.

What if we made a Broadway musical but with Nickelback songs

Like imagine the lead character sad about their dead sister or something then they pull out an old family photo and sing "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH"

The Renaissance period to me is pre marked by Oliver and Company and postmarked by The Emperor's New Groove, two truly fantastic Disney films that really just don't fit the rest of the films in the actual Renaissance lol

couldn't have picked a less convincing song to make the transition happen lol

atleast other songs made it better and now we're back to the status quo where I think Shinoda is once again the weakest part of LP
