Told my son a while ago that I'd love a Bolt Thrower t-shirt but I wanted an official one, not a knock-off from Printerval. Trouble is they don't sell merch online, only at gigs. It's my birthday today and he's got me a vintage shirt from the 2009 Maryland Deathfest. I dread to think what it cost.

Licked my brush earlier as is my wont, and forgot I'd been using Contrast paints. Turns out the brush can hold a lot of contrast paint. I swallowed what felt like a teaspoon of it.

It's taken me 2 weeks and countless practice attempts but finally, half an hour before I have to leave for the work Christmas party, I finally tied a bow tie. It looks so easy on YouTube but I couldn't get my fingers to work it. It's not the best but it's not a clip-on. Goal achieved

In Malvern today for a tattoo. In keeping with recent poor decision making, it's going to be in the centre of my chest, right on the breast bone. On the plus side, it's a 3 hour session and not a full day so hoping it's better than last time.
