What’s crazy is both of these situations BLATANTLY run counter to legal principles I learned in Mr Clemons’ high school Journalism class in 1991. Go read about Tinker vs Des Moines ICSD for one example. Students first amendment rights don’t stop at the “schoolhouse door” and haven’t since 1969.

This, and the IU student newspaper being axed are just two examples of a fascist state violating the First Amendment. I hope there are consequences for these unconstitutional actions, but I’m scared for us in the meantime.
