A pumpkin carved with a human shaped opening, and then the guy from The Enigma of Amigara Fault by Junji Ito has been cut out with a text bubble saying “it was made for me!” And attacked to the pumpkin so it recreates the scene from the manga where the guy is climbing into the human shaped hole in a cliff side except now it’s a human shaped hole in a pumpkin.

An update on this. It’s really important. Still no word from UKGE but more people are commenting and I’m seeing that comments are still being hidden.

What’s more, the creator is firing back with a lot of nonsense. 🙃

To summarise, you equate everything into the average number of successes it grants. This is also true for blood - you can equate blood into dice gained, and thus successes it grants (including its value for healing injuries). Hope that helps!

That equipment above should br 2 dice, typo.

If you put all this together, and use the official Vamps as guidelines, you can make sure your vamps are rolling enough average successes to keep things moving. Ubermensch are the inverse - you look at what the vamps will need on average to defend.

If you look at the official vamps, this checks out. A vamp using their 2nd best skill (3 dice) and using the weakest equipment with the narrative bonus die (3 die) is rolling 2.5 successes a turn. They go neutral. Crits, good equipment, and skills then push them over into achieving things. (3/X)

Enemy successes on average = half their attack die. The most dangerous Ubermensch roll 6 die baselines -> 3 successes. Weak enemies are 2 successes. This means Vamps need to be rolling, on average 2-3 successes on their turns to be 'neutral' - not achieving anything, but not getting injured. (2/X)

To put it short, yes; its less of a formula, but ETR revolves around rolling enough successes to match enemy successes (I.e, to defend), then using further successes to deal damage or complete an objective. Characters, on average, should be rolling more successes than the enemy each turn (1/X)
