I watched the Orion Kerkering game-ending error, and basically thought, "I could see myself doing the exact same thing". There are so many bang-bang plays in baseball where the world's top players revert back to grade school for just a split second, and they are human like the rest of us.

"Task", brought to you by the people behind "Mare of Easttown", is off to an excellent start. So far, it deals with adults who are completely falling apart, and the effect on their kids (who are the smartest people in the room). I recommend it.

Just watched "Inherent Vice" for the first time, which is based on the Thomas Pynchon novel. Weirdest movie of all time, and I think it's one of Paul Thomas Anderson's best films. We talk PTA on this past podcast as well.

Rizzo retiring as a Cub after 14 seasons in MLB Cubs legend Anthony Rizzo, who helped the team win a World Series title in 2016, is retiring after 14 major league seasons and will join the organization as an ambassador going forward.

One of the more consistent players in Cub and MLB history. You could pencil him in the lineup every season, and pretty much count on 30 HRs and 100 RBI. He and Jose Abreu constantly battled for first base supremacy in Chicago as well. A great career.
