Oh, it’s hilarious. So while Chip didn’t finish his BA, he became close to one professor at the University of Denver, John Wesley Rice, Jr. Once Chip went to dinner at his house, and the professor called his daughter to come down and play the piano.

I have many Chip stories, but just one addendum: He was already going down as I was finishing my book, but he was able to read the draft and provided this lovely blurb: “Spellbinding in a revolting yet masterful way.”
