Dude, at every single rally I've helped organize, I hear over and over that people feel like they're alone in this fight, and it discourages them. Telling and showing folks you're in the ring with them doesn't foster complacency, it inspires,energizes and kills fear. Encourage action, don't chide.

My son's tiny rural PA school has a Social Emotional Learning program that all students participate in. It's incredible. The kids are so kind and empathetic, and treat my son and his autistic classmates so wonderfully. These programs aren't just nice, they're vital.
