the thing that kills me is the same garbage arguments have been pedaled for 30 years now. i started a masters in urban planning in 2002 - not long after _Suburban Nation_ came out. it’s like we have all the data and good arguments, but something isn’t landing with people.

Listen, I’m a huge fan. And, I have to point out the number of videos where Mamdani is only interacting with men. It’s by no means a deal-breaker, but it’s troubling. I want to see more visible and comfortable interaction with women out in the world. There’s some, but most footage shows otherwise.
