It seems Conservatives want a country more like the USA, where not only is it your right to have a gun but you are encouraged to use it. Castle and "Stand your ground" laws will in my opinion only exasperated gun violence.

I dont get Cons. Scheer 2019 did better than PP. He increased CPC vote share, gained 26 seats. He also won the popular vote, his own seat and didn't start with a 27pt lead. Still Scheer got canned before review. It's like the party has shifted from "Harper with a smile" to Dollarama Trump.

PP has in the past called for the firing of the governor of the bank of Canada, the arrest of his political opponent while calling the RCMP corrupt. Called for the mass adoption of cryptocurrency and to top it all off claimed the Nazis were "Socialists". That is not principled leadership.

Aaron Gunn's support base is so pro-Trump that he feels awkward for righfully speaking out about Trump's insulting comments about NATO and Canadian solders in Afghanistan. The only thing that's "politically incorrect" about his statement is that it shouldn't hurt him politically.

After "Liberation" day the UK and EU eventually made concessions and submitted to a deal with Trump. Now he wants something else and those deals aren't worth the paper they are written on.

The Conservatives truly have no ideas, only if Carney and the Liberals do anything it's bad. Remember the Cons signed us to a 31 year FIPA agreement with China, and let their state owned oil company buy Nexen for $15 billion. As I recall China was still communist back then.

The USA already has every right as NATO member to defend Greenland and keep Russia and China out. All this is, is a land grab from a fellow NATO member. If passed it will have profound and far reaching consequences for Americans and European's alike.
