You are going to drive the prices up for all the cool things I've been learning about but have been too poor to try out yet. Mostly kidding... The fun thing I've learned about radio so far is some really barebones pieces of electronics can get you pretty far. It just doesn't get you very *good*.

We’re beginners ever helpful contributing to open source? Maybe im too cynical but aside from docs, most open source contribution isn’t for web developers, it’s for software engineers. If I could meaningfully contribute to Vue, I don’t think I’d be building front ends hah.

My last flight experience it differed by *line* in the airport. And we were flying with a kid in a stroller so they had us cut everyone, then just let us flounder around with no further direction. Where am I taking this stroller? Does this come out? Do I take it apart? Baby through X-ray? Hold them?

I wish the idea of crypto wasn’t so tainted in web dev circles. Brave’s basic attention token is a good idea, the “monetary policy” of a token that’s not a primitive like ethereum is just bad. I’d gladly accept browser level ads and profiling over every sites particular shitty ad implementation.

It took me way too long to stop being mad at a dozen+ people sharing the same doom article to my feed and start being disappointed in myself for not cleaning it up sooner.

When I heard her on pod save American I thought “hell yes”. Then when she, with all of her supposed intel bonafides, voted to confirm *any* of the unqualified cabinet members but especially ones involving intel and security, I lost a ton of faith. Not sure what she actually stands for anymore.

Was arguing to wife thatwith the EV infrastructure investment from last admin we could swing a ford lightning even with a hurricane evacuation, that it’d be a good investment the other 99% of time. This really sets that purchase back.

I love how *practical* the content you brought to @syntax.fm is. Not that their demos weren’t always good, but these longform videos dealing with detailed topics are so so good. And I’m biased but very excited for more vue and nuxt content. Thank you!

Definitely experienced the same thing. I got into ham radio recently and if you want a topic that’ll send you right into prepper/antigovernment hell, that’s it. Also the new backpack -> EDC -> militia pipeline is way too short.

Sometimes I have a long Saturday commute and I was saving up podcasts for it. Bummer they’re all out of date re: the New World Order after Friday.

Feel this way about *all of it*. DEI, CRT, LGBTQIA2S+, land acknowledgements, pronouns, on and on. Was it ever materially binding? Was anyone ever cancelled that shouldn’t have been for just being a miserable/jerk person anyway? It all felt like very publicly displayed weakness to be bothered by it.

By the way, the flashcards are for the CompTIA Security+ exam that I'm taking next week. I'm in the market for entry level cyber security/IT job! I have a Masters in Information Systems with a lot of project management experience and junior/mid-level web development experience.

Almost started building a Nuxt flashcard/spaced repetition program, then I tried Anki for the first time which is... kind of amazing.
